Wilhelm Modersohn GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1970 by Wilhelm Modersohn sen. The main activity at that time was the production and sale of anchors for precast concrete facades. Today the company based in Spenge already has over 140 employees. Now a manufacturer of facade fittings and heavy-duty fittings, as well as special stainless steel products, Modersohn also sells goods such as dowels and threaded rods. Notable projects such as the Dresden Frauenkirche, the Berlin Palace and the V&A Design Museum in Dundee feature in the owner-managed company's extensive portfolio. In cooperation with accredited test institutes, Modersohn continuously develops new fitting technology products and therefore offers cost- and performance-optimised solutions for anchors and connecting elements in the construction industry.
