SL Gleitlagertechnik GmbH concerns itself with the development, construction and distribution of self-lubricating, maintenance-free plain bearings made from metal, metal alloys, sintered metal alloys, plastics and combinations of these materials, as well as providing consultation on these matters. The selection of products offered by the company ranges from conventional plain bearings on a bronze base with lubricating pins to a wide variety of application-dependent lubricant combinations, as well as newly developed products with 99.9% highly pure and chemically neutral graphite to prevent electrolytic corrosion. SL Gleitlagertechnik GmbH delivers worldwide with an export rate of over 60%. Special products include plain bearings made from highly pure nickel with dry lubricant for the chemical industry, which are intended for use in aggressive media and radioactive conditions, and high temperature plain bearings that can be used at temperatures of up to 850 °C under certain operating conditions.
