Montagnoli, is of an atelier background, as her father, Giancarlo Montagnoli, started his company, Alta Moda in the 1960s, which has now become one of the most important Italian fashion labels to be appreciated worldwide- for its’ designs and strong identity. Following in his footsteps, Barbara has not only maintained this tradition but added a note of innovation and curiosity towards her own label. Barbara’s designs champions in both the attention to the mock-up and the careful selection of fine textiles to flatter any shape and size of each woman that she dresses.
